An open door, The temple
This was my Christmas spent in and around Samcheondong and Jongno. What beautiful colors, scents and shapes I witnessed yesterday. The door is always open and thankfully it was also open to me. Can you believe these colors just on the temple grounds?! Stunning. This particular temple educates westerners about Zen Buddhism at the weekend. Yours truly will be there this Saturday, hopefully with a less heavy heart and a clearer mind.

The statue of Budah that is seen between the door is really impressive. It looks like saying that there is still a way open to us to arrive the Budah. Well.. It’s not that a wide one, though. I feel like I need to visit Samchung-dong in the near future.

As long as it’s open, it doesn’t matter how much the door is open. As long as the possibility is there to enter, that’s the most important thing. That’s my opinion.
You really should visit. It’s a wonderful area of Seoul where I wished that I lived.
