Those Who Seek Beauty, Find It
If you cannot find inspiration here in Paris, then I don’t want to tell you.
I’m always looking, observing, listening and then I just let go and feel. I always learn something new about this city every single day.
On the streets lately there seems to be a feeling of indifference, especially among very young people.
Paris is the high fashion capital of the world. Fast fashion brands have inundated the streets of Paris, heck, the world, and the very people who say that want quality and style are beginning to opt out altogether. I was speaking to a student today and I said there seems to be too much choice, bad choices to which she responded: “people just want something simple, but the problem is simple is now hard to find. She’s exactly right, if you think this way. Here’s my opinion: Nothing is hard to find once you start looking for it. Anything can serve as a source of inspiration.
This is Paris, you just have to open your eyes, observe, listen and feel. That’s certainly not hard to do.
