The Perfect Companion
The Hunt/La Chasse!
This photo is a sneak peak at what’s coming next week. I loved photographing the owner’s space inside and out as well as her beautiful wares.
Yes, I’m going back to the Marché Aux Puces to check up on some new friends I made there last weekend. Definitely going to check out some vintage clothing and jewelry for you all. I hope that you like it!
I love the hunt!
Bon Weekend!
P.S. The people that you see here were Swedes and I know they followed me from the metro to get to the market. LOL. I would’ve too, hey, if you don’t know and see someone who looks like they know, go with the flow. Ciao!
The Study Of Pheromones
Don’t you just love walking into something at once pretty, then suddenly you realize that you’re standing in someone’s image of paradise? I believe that’s what happened to me when I discovered Pheromones. last Sunday.
Joseph Daaboul, creator and founder of Pheromones an exquisite stand located at Marché Paul Bert. Mr. Daaboul is a decorator and stylist and he has truly created not only a place to store and sell his unique wares but he’s created something else: a world outside of the norm and it’s fascinating. I was told that each piece he selects is a very personal choice and I respect that. Fortunately for him his visitors love his personal tastes because most of everything I liked, was already sold! Good for him!
I’m enchanted by his styling and furniture and you will be too.
His stock changes every three weeks so if you see something you like, don’t hesitate to purchase.
I can you take you to his stand personally or you can find him yourself at this address:

Hello All!
I had the pleasure of meeting Sophie Elisabeth of Moments Et Matieres at Marché Vernaison while re-discovering the largest flea market in the world: Le Marché Aux Puces – Saint Ouen. Sophie Elisabeth specializes in antique textiles (19th and 20 century) and fashion accessories while her co-founder maintains the vintage furniture side of the business. Together they have created one of the most alluring stands filled with beautiful textiles and vintage furniture that I’ve ever seen. I love how she and her partner have created a world, an atmosphere that speaks to the past but encourages the present and future. I really fell for the enormous round vases that she sells (photo below). These bottles are called Dame Jeanne and were used to transport wine and other alcoholic beverages as far back as the 14th century.
Thank you so much Sophie Elisabeth for allowing me to photograph your space and taking time to explain the pieces that I loved.

As a personal tour guide I can introduce you to Sophie Elisabeth or you can personally see for yourself the treasures she sells at her amazing stand at Marché Vernaison.
Love At First Sight/Coup de Foudre!
This afternoon I found this treasure at Le Marché Paul Bert. It took my breath away. Smiling from ear to ear now.

A Hunting We Will Go
I wish you all a great weekend.
A friend and I will head to Marché Paul Bert tomorrow. I refuse to call this market a flea market. It’s so much more than that. It’s a great place to study furniture, textiles, fashion accessories for the home and for yourself.
Lately, I’ve been admiring mid-century modern furniture and I know I’m going to find my heart’s content at this market as well as the Marché Serpette. I pray that I find some beautiful textiles as well. I have some ideas about textiles…
Have a great weekend!
La Vie Est Belle
J’adore les fleurs, je les adores! I’ve decided to be excited about the unknown and not nervous about it. Life is beautiful, no matter what.
Create a beautiful day for yourself.
