Metro Lines

As you may or may not know, I ‘m in Virginia visiting family and friends. I’ve been loving walking and living in one of my favorite neighborhoods, walking down wide tree-lined streets, passing neighbors and strangers wishing them a beautiful day or just saying hello. As I walk down the street I am so grateful to have the ability to walk and on top of that in gorgeous Virginia!
I always share the beauty of my native Virginia with anyone who wants to hear, but there’s one thing that we don’t have here in Richmond…a metro, a subway system!
How cool would it be if we had as many lines as the Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation? Uh, pretty cool! I could cross the James River (in Seoul it’s the Han River) with ease, in no time flat, I could have dinner with my suburban friends without the hassle of driving down 95. I’ll be back on the metro in a month or two, remembering this post as some pushy older lady steals my seat. I’ll take a deep breath, show her my Southern manners and graciously stand and smile. I’ll be old one day too.

Respect your elders.

I have no idea how I found your blog but I have really been enjoying it. My b/f is Korean so, it’s given me some insight into his family’s culture. Anyhow… you’re from Richmond? Me too! What a small world! Happy holidays!

Love his pinstripes and the lines of the escalator. Nice subtle shot. I’m glad you are enjoying your visit with your family.
