Pause Cafe

August 16, 2011

If I drank as much coffee in Paris as I did in Seoul, South Korea, I’d be BROKE. The main reason why I drink coffee here is to sit and experience the interior design of the place. The price of coffee is worth the admissions, you know? Pause Cafe is where all the hippie chic chicas and chicos hang. This is, in this area, THE watering hole for all people fashionable, artistic, etc. I come here during odd hours = when it’s empty. It’s about the coffee, the materials, a book, and the fifteen minutes I give myself to slow down, pause, rejuvenate. In terms of color and sound I fancy the inside’s American retro tones. The red and yellow remind me of when my parents or babysitters took us to happy hamburger joints (a bi-monthly treat). All that’s missing is a jukebox. Love this place…when it’s empty.
