Here’s Ms. Leriche speaking of her installment:

The previous post was a small section of the larger Nourritures Premières, curated by Elizabeth Leriche, style consultant extraordinaire to such brands as IKEA, Roche Bobois and of course, Maison et Objet. This year Ms. Leriche took us all on a journey to our basic needs, food and nature. There was something very different about this particular installation, it was honest, no frills, no smoke and mirrors. Instead of waxing poetic about how we must go back to our roots (so to speak), I was left to interpret what food and nature means to me in my own life and times. Food in all it’s simplicity and complexity, speaks for itself. I haven’t seen an installation at Maison et Objet this inviting in a long time. Thank you, Ms. Leriche and all artists whose work was featured.
