Mindful Tribal Thinking On A Sunny Day

April 1, 2014

To say that today was heaven-sent would be an understatement. As I walked through my neighborhood, butterflies flitted near my head, crossing my path. It was as if they wanted to make sure I saw them! Daffodils stood tall and proud, the scent of jasmine and rosemary wafted through the air on this magnificent Spring day. The light was so intense. By the time I reached home I was a bit sleepy from all the sun.

No time for sleep, there’s plenty to do around here. I watched this video with Seth Godin this weekend as I really delved into the business I want to create and what it will stand for. As I came back from that beautiful walk I instantly was back into inundating myself with so much information, that I lost focus of the big picture. It’s no longer about working for this company or that company. Heck, I’ve known this for a very long time but it’s only now that I’m willing to forge a new patch, choose myself, to do what it is I’m here to do. So I thank all present and past employers, I’m so glad we had that time together. But it’s time for me to say, so long.

Do any of you own your own business? If so, I’d love to ask you some questions about how you started, etc. Perhaps I could publish an article about you so that you can inspire others as well. Let me know. Don’t be shy.
